Outreach
Developed with support from the National Science Foundation (Grant No. 1206271), this K-12 outreach kit includes instructions for a hands-on activity in a mini (traveling) wave flume. This activity addresses the damaging effects of tsunamis and the role of coastal forest in mitigating these effects.

Co-authored by Jen Irish and developed with support from the Texas Department of Public Safety, this hurricane primer gives an overview of hurricane climatology, storm surge, and flooding probability and risk.
